Fine Wines From Provence

Grands Vins De Provence

Tom Bove, an American businessman, has a long and distinguished history in the evolution
of fine organic winemaking in Provence.
First at Chateau Miraval from 1992 when he painstakingly revealed the inherent beauty and
structure of this run down estate, converting the vineyards to organic production and winning
international recognition for its white wines in particular. After the much-publicized sale to
Hollywood celebrities Tom devoted his energies to creating a spectacular domaine from the
rocky terraces of La Mascaronne, outside Le Luc, that he had taken over in 1999. At the same
time he acquired, together with his family, Bomont de Cormeil – an historic domaine in the
Coteaux du Verdon appellation which he identified as the ideal terroir for the production of
Viognier and Syrah. Tom’s latest project is the complete renovation of Chateau Bellini
(formerly Fontlade), a winery where history, terroir and modern techniques combine to yield
extraordinary vins de Provence.

Château Mira-Luna, Côteaux Varois en Provence

Mira Luna was formerly part of the historic Château Miraval estate and Tom Bove retained its 250 acres (17 acres of vines) at the time of the sale to the Jolie-Pitts in 2008. The Domaine is blessed with the most beautiful terroir where the moon rises over an undulating landscape. Its beauty was such that it inspired a former Miraval owner, the jazz musician Jacques Loussier, to proclaim that Mira Luna was his very favourite part of the extensive Miraval Domaine.

Bomont De Cormeil

Bomont de Cormeil, Coteaux du Verdon

This historic domaine is located in the totally unspoilt and tranquil wide open valley of the river Bresque, protected by forests of evergreen and white oak, just outside the ancient perched Provencal village of Fox Amphoux. Its vineyards slope gently away from the Château, which dates from the eighteenth century. Currently ten hectares are planted with Viognier and Syrah. Plantings next spring will bring to twelve hectares the total under organic viticulture. The Coteaux du Verdon appellation is just 80kms north of Saint Tropez yet hidden in the beautiful, historically rich countryside close to the foothills of the Alps and the deepest gorge in Europe, from which the appellation derives its name.

Château Bellini en Provence

Château Bellini is a winery where history, terroir, and modern techniques combine to produce extraordinary vins de Provence. This results in elegant yet full bodied reds, aromatic and dry rosés, along with fresh and flowery whites.

Our vineyard occupies approximately 35 hectares of chalk and clay terraces which are covered in small stones and surrounded by oak forests. This region has a continental climate of hot dry summers with cool nights followed by relatively cold winters with substantial frost and pleasant days. These ideal conditions have lead to its long tradition of wine making, originating with the Ligurians and followed by the Romans.

Mira Luna

All the wines produced from Bomont de Cormeil, Château Bellini and Château Mira Luna are organic.
